What You'll Need to Get Started

- A Google Account. Your Android device should have already required you to set one - do try to use that same account, as the Google Books app will default to that. If you still need one, sign up here.
- The Google Books app - available for free in the Android marketplace.

Buying your Google eBook
|
|
- Using the Search Google eBooks search form (to your upper left), search for the eBook you want to buy.
- Purchase your eBook. If you have logged
in to Bookshopwestportal.com using a NON-Google ID, the first time you
purchase an ebook, you will be prompted to link your purchase to your
Google Account. Say yes to everything.

Reading your Google eBook
|
|
- Once you have made your purchase, open the
Google Books App on your device.
- Tap the image of your book to download.
- If you don't see your eBook, it may be that
you've purchased your eBook using a different Google ID than is the default for your Android device. To change this, go to the settings menu of your Android
device and change the default Google ID to the ID you made the purchase
with.
