A gorgeously illustrated, oversize picture book that shows young readers the sizes of their favorite animals
Could you picture the size of a tiger’s face, or an elephant’s tail, or an ostrich’s egg? Life-Size Animals shows the actual size of your favorite animals’ tongues, teeth, claws, eggs, tails, and more. It encourages readers to compare the sizes of the different animals to themselves—seeing how long their tongues are compared to a giraffe’s or how big their teeth are compared to a great white shark’s—and it helps to put in context just how big or small these incredible creatures are. Packed with facts and breathtaking illustrations, this is the kind of book that curious readers can pore over for hours and return to again and again.
