An evening with Majka Burhardt and More: An intense and emotional epistolary memoir by one of the world's top ice climbers, born at the confluence of motherhood, adventure, career, and marriage.
Join us for a searingly honest conversation about the nucleus of what it takes for any of us to do more. Majka’s story is one of her journey to keep it together, or try to, while pregnant and then a mom to young twins, while simultaneously maintaining a career as a professional climber, creating a good marriage, reparenting herself, and leading a growing international organization that's disrupting the way conservation is done. An hour long intimate and engaging show and discussion about the heart of trying to go big.

* Free snacks will be provided by Patagonia Provisions.
* Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic drinks will be available all evening with a one-time $5+ donation that goes directly to support Legado Organization.
* We will have a Chance-to-Win a few Patagonia items with all proceeds going to support Legado Organization.

LEGADO works alongside indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs) in places important for biodiversity to ensure they have the tools, resources, and partnerships they need to design and implement solutions of their choosing that benefit both their communities and landscapes—an outcome they call Thriving Futures.Their goal is to build a locally-led system for sustained collective action that fosters agency, adaptability and resilience for meeting current and future challenges—such as those brought on by climate change. Legado's work revolves around legacy as an activator for individual and collective change.
